We have received information that NBTC are not currently accepting registrations of FPV and self-assembled drones. Some customers are also reporting difficulties registering their FPV and self-assembled drones at this time.
Previously you were able to register and use FPV and self-assembled drones, including being able to attach your own serial number, but the regulations are currently much stricter.
The latest guidelines from the relaxing of the drone ban on August 16 state that visual line of sight (VLOS) must be maintained at all times and FPV cameras must not be used for navigation beyond visual line of sight. But there was no further guidance regarding FPV drones.
There is no official announcement regarding this and the situation is changing regularly.
